What does the Winchester Special Education PAC do?
- Provides networking opportunities for parents and guardians of chiIdren with special education needs.
- Offers workshops and guest speakers to help members become better informed about special education issues.

Advises the school district on matters pertaining to the education, health and safety of students with disabilities.
- Meets regularly with school and local officials to participate in the planning, development and evaluation of special education programs.

Parents or guardians of a child who is currently receiving and is being evaluated for special education services, either within or outside of the community.
- Parents, guardians and educators who want to learn more about the resources available to them - therapists, workshops, testing, programs, camps, advocates, etc.
- Parents or guardians who are looking for a support group that understands their issues and concerns.
- Parents or guardians who have questions about special education issues - evaluation process, basic rights, IEPs and 504s, etc.
